There are two new developments in Squaw Valley, one has final Bureau of Real Estate approval and has started construction. The other has been delayed for one year due to the tremendous response to this offering. The developer is now working a reconfiguration of the hotel building to accommodate more condominiums. Both have started their sales program. Here are the details.
Palisades at Squaw Valley is located at the east end of the valley near to the entrance. It is a residential subdivision offering 33 Home Sites and Semi- Custom Homes and 30 Modern Townhomes. The townhomes are duplex units and one is under construction. A model home will be constructed soon on one of the home sites. Palisades at Squaw Valley does have final CA BRE approval so they are now in active sales mode. Click on the above link for more information.
PlumpJacks Squaw Valley Inn & Residences is at the west end of the valley at the base of the Squaw Valley ski area, next to the Cable Car building and across from the Village at Squaw Valley. The plan is to demolish the existing Squaw Valley Inn, originally built for the XIII Winter Olympics in 1960, and replace it with a five story high end resort style hotel and 34 plus luxury residences. This is the development that has been delayed due to a very strong response from potential buyers. This project has preliminary CA BRE approval and is now taking reservations for a priority residence selection to be held later this year. Click on the above link for more information.
