Trails and Vistas Art Hike Coming to the North Tahoe Truckee Area This Weekend

The sounds of silence are interrupted only by music, dance and poetry in the forest. Imagine “the sweet sound of a cello echoing around you.”  The Art Hike takes place September 7th and 8th on the Pacific Crest Trail at Donner Summit.  Tickets are available now.  Featured artists include the San Jose State University Symphony Orchestra, Angelika, who chants in ancient Sanskrit, Flutist Ann Licater, Double-Neck Guitarist Ian Ethan Case, and Taiko Tsurunokai, a Japanese drum group.  Enjoy art and nature among the trees without the sounds of everyday life.  For details of this “magical” event read the Moonshine Ink article and visit the Trails and Vistas web page.
