You know that summer has begun when the Aerial Tram begins its summer operations on June 14, 2013. Enjoy the spectacular and leisurely ride to 8,200 feet where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe as well as such activities as swimming, roller skating, disc golf and tennis at High Camp.
Full Moon Party
Enjoy the brightest full moon of the summer while listening to 5 DJs at the Full Moon Party at High Camp on Saturday, June 22nd. Imagine how magnificent the full moon will be when viewing it from 8,200 feet.
Bluesdays
Free Blues Concerts every Tuesday evening (6:00 – 8:30pm) from July 2nd – August 27th, 2013 in the Village at Squaw Valley. These are really great. The Village restaurants set up booths and offer “Blue Plate Specials,” there is a no host bar offering beer, wine and hard liquor drinks and the Village shops offer “Blue Dot Deals” (discounted items). This is combined with deals on Lodging and High Camp Activity packages. As usual, this year there is a great line up of musicians including two of my favorites; Chris Cain on July 2nd and Janiva Magness on July 23rd. Click to view the Bluesdays schedule.
