Squaw Valley’s plan for a new Red Dog Chairlift

Squaw Valley Ski Resort has applied to Placer County for a Conditional Use Permit to replace the existing Red Dog Chairlift with a high speed six passenger detachable chair lift.  Should this be approved it would increase the uphill capacity from 1800 skiers per hour to 2400 skiers per hour.  Click here to read the entire UnOfficialSquaw.com article.
