Squaw & Alpine Could Be Just 2 Years Away From Becoming USA’s Largest Ski Area

According to UnofficalSquaw.com and news10.net Troy Caldwell, the owner of White Wolf (the property that connects with both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows) has said that he and KSL Partners (the owners of controlling interest in both Squaw and Alpine) have a handshake agreement that will connect the two ski resorts, possibly with in two years.  This would create the largest ski resort in the USA and the 2nd largest in North America.  This has been a longtime dream of many North Tahoe locals so understandably this news has created a lot of buzz.  Click here to view the interview with Troy Caldwell, or here to view the news10.net news cast.
