Lake Tahoe’s Water Level Rises 4.8 Inches in Last Two Storms
Two major storms inundated the Tahoe/Truckee region over the last weekend bringing high winds, torrential rain, power outages and snow at the higher elevations. Truckee Railyard Application Delayed
Preliminary applications for the Truckee Railyard were submitted to the Town of Truckee on October 2, 2014, by Truckee Development Associates. Since then numerous changes have been made to the plan including the location of the grocery store and parking. Developer Excludes Tahoe Basin Land from Martis Valley Project
Mountainside Partners (formerly East West Partners) has requested of Placer County that it exclude 138 acres of the Tahoe Basin from the Martis Valley West Plan. The developer also requested that the application to Tahoe Regional Planning Agency for development within the Basin be withdrawn and that any future development proposals be approved separately from the Martis Valley Project.
