As many of those who are regular Olympic Valley visitors know, several years ago the PlumpJack Group announced the plan described below. Due to a number of Olympic Valley issues that plan was delayed. According to a principle in the the development team, who I recently spoke with, they are still very interested in moving forward with this project once the remaining issues are resolved. He could not give me a timeline on the resolutions of those issues.
Original Development Plan
In the spring of 2019 the existing PlumpJacks Squaw Valley Inn will be demolished to be replaced with a five story luxury hotel and 34 plus whole ownership luxury residences in two additional buildings. The original plan called for; 7 two bedroom + den, 8 three bedroom, 14 three bedroom + den, 3 four bedroom condominiums and 2 four bedroom + den penthouses (34 total). The units will vary in size from approximately 1,750 sq. ft. to approximately 4,500 sq. ft. and all will have significant views. Due to the tremendous response to this offering the developer delayed the proposed start date of the project to do a reconfiguration of the hotel building to accommodate more two bedroom units.
Meriwether Co, a real estate development firm with experience in hospitality projects in resort settings will manage the development project for the PlumpJack Group that will then manage the hotel and residences. The vision is to create a vacation ownership property with the conveniences of resort style living. Owners will enjoy spacious high quality craftsmanship built residences and resort amenities.

Priority Reservations for future Residence selection are now being accepted. The Priority Residence selection by Priority Reservation holders will be in the late fall or early winter of 2018.
