We’re barely past Thanksgiving and it’s time to plan for New Year’s Eve. There are many activities to choose from and some require advance reservations. So here’s the list:
• New Year’s Eve Fire and Ice Celebration at Northstar—DJ and live music, ice skating, fireworks and s’mores by the fire, face painting and more. •
• New Year’s Eve Sunset Snowshoe Tour—Snowshoe hike begins at Tahoe Donner Snow Play. Reservations required.
• Kids Night Out New Year’s Eve Bash at the Resort at Squaw Creek—Special kid-friendly dinner, games, crafts, DJ and dessert station.
• New Year’s Eve Grand Celebration and Dinner at the Resort at Squaw Creek—Gourmet buffet dinner, live music and dancing, champagne toast, 21 and over.
• Family New Year’s Eve Celebration at High Camp at Squaw Valley—family event features sumptuous buffet and champagne for the adults and a children’s buffet with sparkling apple cider. Reservations required.
• New Year’s Eve in the Olympic House at Squaw Valley—party begins at 9:00 pm after the fireworks show and features live music for 21 and over.
• New Year’s Eve at the West Shore Café is a formal affair featuring a superb menu, open bar and live music.
