Meeks Bay

Meeks Bay is located 18 miles south of Tahoe city and just 7 miles north of Emerald Bay. It is a beautiful sandy bay located at the mouth of Meeks Creek. Meeks Bay Resort is operated by the Washoe Tribe of California and Nevada and offers public day use of the large sandy beach along the bay, as well as tent and RV camping, and cabins. There are several small neighborhoods with large lots and some modest old Tahoe homes, as well as some luxury properties.
