Here is a good story from PowderMag.com on the most popular ski bar in the North Tahoe area. “The Chammy” in the base area at Squaw Valley has been a favorite for as long as I can remember, and I have been a season pass holder since 1982. It is the arranged meeting place for the end of the ski day for both locals and regular Squaw skiers. It is so popular that KSL has decided to preserve it in their proposed expansion plan of the Village at Squaw Valley.
