Lake Tahoe Summerfest Concert Series Starts This Weekend

The concert series begins on August 1st at 7:00 pm and continues on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through August 17th.  The Lake Tahoe Summerfest Orchestra features world renowned musicians from the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony and the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by Maestro Joel Revzen, an award-winning conductor.  Friday and Saturday concerts are held at 7:00 pm at the Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada. Sundays highlight a new concert experience: Meet the Music—Meet the Musicians at 4:00 pm, in the same location.  These are performances of small ensembles playing music from musically famous cities accompanied by concert chats and illustrations.  After the concert, the musicians are available for conversation and questions while enjoying European treats.  For additional description and a complete schedule of the concerts, click on the link for Summerfest or read the article from the Sierra Sun.
