The Tahoe Conservation Resource District announced the opening of three roadside inspection stations with two more to open on May 23. All watercraft must be inspected, and if necessary be decontaminated, prior to launching in Lake Tahoe. Boats with aquatic invasive species are not allowed on the lake until they have been decontaminated. All boats on the lake must have a “Tahoe In & Out “ sticker which verifies that they have passed inspection. Watercraft inspection fees remain the same as in 2012.
