Hamilton Loomis will be playing in The Village at Squaw Valley on August 12th at 6pm for Tuesday Bluesdays. This weekly summer event is free and The Village comes alive with locals and visitors enjoying music, food, and drinks. Booths provided by Village restaurants feature food and drink specials with a wide variety of choices, and Village shops also have special deals to take advantage of. This event is fun for the entire family and dog friendly too. Chairs set out by The Village fill up fast, so feel free to bring your own.
There is also a concert at High Camp earlier in the day, with Tim Snider playing from 12:30 to 3:30. Discounted arial tram tickets are available, and you can enjoy this free concert poolside.
At 6pm you will be delighted by Hamilton Loomis and his band, featuring a musical triangle of rock, soul and blues. Hamilton is at the center with vocals, guitar and harmonica. His band is made up of amazingly experienced musicians on drums, saxes, keys, and bass and background vocals. Loomis’ latest album, “Give it Back”, is his most progressive to date and pays tribute to his mentors.
After the concert ends at 8:30pm, an after party begins at the Auld Dubliner. You will experience live music and dancing in a setting that makes you feel like you are in an authentic pub in Ireland, with food and drinks to match. The pub is open until 2am for late night fun.
