Placer County released a Final Environmental Impact Report (Final EIR) for the Village at Squaw Valley Specific Plan on April 7, 2016. An electronic copy of the Final EIR and the final draft Specific Plan are available online at the Placer County website:

Due to the regional significance of the project, Placer County has determined that no hearings will be scheduled to consider the project entitlements or certification of the Final EIR until at least 30-days after circulation of the Final EIR. A hearing before the Planning Commission is tentatively scheduled for late May, and no action will be taken on the project or the FEIR prior to that time.
Persons wishing to provide written comments on the Final EIR or the project may do so. Comments should be addressed to either the Placer County Planning Commission or Board of Supervisors. Written comments will be added to the administrative record and are not further responded to in the EIR. Comments received will, however, be included in the record of public comments to the project file and will be considered by the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors when they conduct public hearings and deliberate on the project. The County will provide notice to the public and all interested parties regarding the date, time, and location of the public hearings.
