Snowshoeing
Tahoe Adventure Company offers guided snowshoe hikes both during the day and full moon and star gazing tours. You can even opt into a warm drink and a grommet lunch while getting some exercise and learning about the local flora and fauna from one of their experienced snowshoe guides. Ice Skating
Northstar has a great ice scatting rink located in the heart of the village. A perfect place for a family outing or a romantic date. Go skating and then head to one of the great restaurants in the village for dinner or catch a movie at the Northstar theater. The skating rink opens every day at 2 pm. Snowmobile Tours
Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Tours offers over 100 miles of trails in the Tahoe National Forest on Mt Watson. This area offers spectacular views of the entire lake. They have personalized snowmobile tours for the beginning through expert rider, with professional, friendly guides and small tour groups. They have appropriate clothing to keep you warm available for rent including suits, gloves and boots.

Disco Tubing
SnoVentures Activity Zone to life with colorful LED lights, lasers and live DJs from 5-8pm. Disco tubing is the family-friendly party where you spin down the tubing lanes to music and lights!

Sleigh Rides
Take a Sleigh Ride at Sand Harbor State Park! The 1 hour private horse drawn sleigh ride travels along spectacular Lake Tahoe with a private narrated tour with stories, and poems, and caroling

Alpenglow Demo Days at Palisades Tahoe Alpine
Alpenglow Backcountry demo event is held annually at Palisades Tahoe Alpine. The event provides a forum to perpetuate the enthusiasm for all aspects of in-area and backcountry skiing. Backcountry Magazine’s Backcountry Basecamp Tour, guides, forecasters, AIARE instructors and gear experts will all be there for a resort-based showcase of all things backcountry—including demos, avalanche education, guided tours and a huge raffle.
