Kings Beach Core Improvement Project Utility Relocation To Start March 25, 2013

According to a Placer County E-Blast the utility relocation for the Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement Project started yesterday on Hwy 28 in the center of town.  This first phase of work is scheduled to go through April 5th but there will be future phases of this relocation.  This will cause traffic delays throughout the coming summer.  This is the beginning of a $44 million dollar project designed to improve storm management, traffic flows and make the commercial core of Kings Beach more pedestrian friendly to enhance visitor’s experience.  This is the result of a number of years of planning, hearings and intense political squabbling involving many government agencies.   For more information on the project click;
