January 2, 2016 is the day for the busy and popular tenth annual Backcountry Demo Event. Alpenglow Sports is once again teaming up with Alpine Meadows in Squaw Valley to showcase the latest equipment and ideas for alpine touring, telemark, and splitboard sports. The event will be open from 9am to 3 pm and will be free to the public, but your driver’s license and credit card are necessary for admission.
Participating vendors include DPS, Dynafit, G3, Scarpa, NTN from Rottefella, Salomon, K2, Scott, Marker, Volkl, La Sportiva, Voile, Moment, Fly Low, Smith Optics, Jones Snowboards and more.
“It’s a really fun time to see backcountry enthusiasts come out and try a bunch of new equipment. There are lots of smiles at the end of the day, which is really why we do it,” shared Alpenglow manager Jeff Dostie.
