• Start your week with a Concert at Commons Beach in Tahoe City. Beginning June 22nd, there are concerts every Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. Enjoy local, regional and national performers while you take in the ambiance of this lakeside event. Bring your picnic basket and a low-backed chair. • One of the highlights of the summer season is Bluesdays at Squaw. The concerts are held every Tuesday in June, July and August at High Camp and in the Village at Squaw Valley. Concerts begin on June 17, 2014, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Also available at this time are bargains on the Aerial Tram tickets and in the Village on food, retail and lodging. • And the third concert of each week, Wednesdays, enjoy live music in the park at Truckee Regional Park from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The concerts begin June 18th and continue through September 24th This is a family event where small children can dance with each other or with Mom and Dad. • Truckee Thursdays is a local festival featuring live music, the Foothills Farmers’ Market, children’s activities, art, beer garden and more. Don’t miss this fun family event. For more information, click on the Truckee Thursdays website.
• And on Friday evenings beginning June 27th at 6:30 pm, Music on the Beach at Kings Beach State Recreation Area. This lakeside concert invites listening and dancing to a variety of musical artists. The opening act is The Blues Monsters. Food, beer, wine, water and soda will be available for purchase. Bring your snacks and a blanket. • On Saturday and Sunday, July 12th and 13th, from 11 am to 5 pm, Squaw Valley presents the Art, Wine and Music Festival. Featuring artists, craftsmen and musicians, this festival is sure to give you an enjoyable day in beautiful Squaw Valley. Wanderlust Squaw Valley
For four days in July, Thursday July 17th through Sunday July 20th, this festival features yoga and wellness activities along with top musical acts.
